The game will be released in Japan around the same time under the title Girls Mode 4: Star☆Stylist. The Japanese trailer hinted at new styling elements such as jewellery (beyond earrings and necklaces), nail polish and as well as a mobile phone feature.

ReplyDeleteIs there any real major differences between styling star and fashion foward, because personally the only thing I notice different is new clothes and hair, the nail styling feature, decorating shopping bags, and the fact that you styling rising stars. But I’m not sure if that’s enough differences to buy the game. The dollhouse feature is still included too, right? Also, are they going to release the game in actual stores in North America, or just the eShop?
ReplyDeleteI believe the Caprice Chalet feature has been removed but you can still decorate you boutique like you could design rooms at the Caprice Chalet. You can also customise your apartment.
DeleteThe game comes out this weekend where I live, so I haven't got my hands on it just yet. But I do believe there isn't much new content besides the rising stars part, new items and more design options. I believe there is some good online features added which allow you to download items from other players. I'd say wait until you know more about the game before deciding if you would get full enjoyment out of it.
The NA version is only getting a eShop release at this point. No plans for an actual store release has been announced and I doubt it will be coming out if they haven't said anything about it.
