Amiibo - Animal Crossing

Style Boutique 3 has amiibo compatibility and unlocks special designs for your character to wear. In this game, amiibos unlock emblems and design items that are unique to the amiibo character. Certain amiibo figures unlock certain content and this guide will look at the content unlocked with any Animal Crossing series amiibo and amiibo cards.

To scan an amiibo into the game, open the phone menu and select the amiibo app. Make sure that you have the internet/online switched on. You will need either a New Nintendo 3DS/2DS with the built in NFC reader or a separate NFC Reader from Nintendo. Turn the NFC reader on if you are using the stand-alone one. Place the amiibo on the 3DS or NFC reader and the game will ask to scan it in. Once you have successfully scanned the amiibo into the game, you can either close the amiibo app or scan in more amiibos. Go to your apartment and select the Design option to access the content unlocked by the amiibo.

The Animal Crossing amiibo's unlock a leaf emblem and three Animal Crossing t-shirt designs. The emblem features the leaf icon from the game series which appears on a variety of occasions such as items or game box art. You can add this emblem to various design items or to shopping bags.

The Animal Crossing t-shirt features three designs: Village Street, Village Sky and Village Leaf. Select the T-shirt option from the design menu and you will see the base Animal Crossing t-shirt. Select this and the three options for the t-shirt design will appear. You can recolour the t-shirt and emblem designs to any colour using the design feature.

Brand Representatives

The brand representatives from Fashion Forward return in Styling Star with a range of new looks. All the representatives return in the new game apart from Streetflow which was removed from the game. Brand representatives have new hairstyles and colours as well as new make-up. The pictures below show the brand representatives in both Fashion Forward (on the left) and Styling Star (on the right). You can notice the difference in game graphics between the two games and a noticeable change in eye shape styles. The background of each brand at the Exhibition Hall has also changed to no longer include the brand logo.

Brands - April Bonbon

There are a variety of brands featured in Style Boutique 3/Style Savvy 4 that cater to all tastes in fashion. One of the brands is April Bonbon which focuses on lively and fun fashion. The game lists the following description for the brand "Stand out from the crowd with this fun brand packed with vibrant colours and youthful styles". 

April Bonbon's main image is Lively and clothing items in the brand also fall under the following images: basic, girly, psychedelic, bold and preppy. Connie returns as the brand representative for April Bonbon in Styling Star and some items from Streetflow have been moved to April Bonbon. For the April Bonbon brand, each section of clothing contains the following amount of items:

The Peach t-shirt features three designs: Peach Simple, Peach Frill and Peach Corset. Select the T-shirt option from the design menu and you will see the base Peach t-shirt. Select this and the three options for the t-shirt design will appear. You can recolour the t-shirt and emblem designs to any colour using the design feature. 

Brands - AZ-USA

There are a variety of brands featured in Style Boutique 3/Style Savvy 4 that cater to all tastes in fashion. One of the brands is AZ-USA which focuses on bold and cool style fashion. The game lists the following description for the brand "The epitome of flashy fashion complete with daring animal prints and striking designs. get bold, girl!". 

AZ-USA's main image is Bold and clothing items in the brand also fall under the following images: lively, eastern, basic, girly, psychedelic, boho-chic, gothic, rock, chic, feminine and preppy. Padma returns as the brand representative for AZ-USA in Styling Star and some items from Streetflow have been moved to AZ-USA. For the AZ-USA brand, each section of clothing contains the following amount of items:

Purple Moon - Panda Outfit

The Purple Moon brand in New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star sells a variety of fun costume outfits. The brand is found at the Exhibition Hall and the brand representative is Eliza. Purple Moon has some new costumes available in Styling Star and one of these new outfits is the Panda outfit. Each item in the outfit costs $990.00 and can be restocked through the Restock app via the Phone Menu.

The Panda outfit is made up of the following items:

• Panda Bolero
• Panda Qipao
• Panda Ankle Boots
• Panda Bag

The Panda outfit is available in a variety of colours and items in the set belong to two different themes. The Qipao and Bag belong to the lively theme whilst the Ankle Boots and Bolero belong to the eastern theme.
