In New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star, there is a wide variety of miniatures that you can collect and use to decorate your boutique and apartment interior. Miniatures fall under different categories and many items were featured previously in Fashion Forward. Miniatures can be obtained by either purchasing them from various stores around the city or received as gifts from NPC's. This guide will detail all the Lighting items available.
Table miniatures can be purchased from the Lifestyle Shop which is run by Pippa. The selection of items available changes each month. The Lighting category has been altered since Fashion Forward and is no longer called Lighting and Clocks. Some of the lighting from Fashion Forward have been removed and do not appear in Styling Star. The clock miniatures have been removed completely and are no longer available. New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star features a new location called the Cake Shop where you can find mouth watering desserts and yummy food themed miniatures. The Cake Shop is run by a married couple who go by the names Mike and Madeira. Here you can purchase various food themed miniatures and talk to the owners of the shop.
Mike runs the counter at the shop and Madeira bakes all the treats. She rarely talks but is a skilled baker. Madeira will visit the boutique for some outfits during the main story line of the game. She will give you tricky clues on what style of outfit she is looking for and usually requests outfits to help with inspiration for new recipes.
Make sure to visit the Cake Shop to stock up on all the food miniatures available. The selection doesn't change often, so it doesn't matter if you miss a day or two visiting. Once purchased, the miniatures can be found under the Food Category when remodelling your boutique or apartment. Valentine's Day appears in Style Boutique once again, however the holiday is not as celebrated as it was in Fashion Forward. There are some Valentine's Day greetings that appear and a special Valentine's Day themed miniature to collect.
Once February 14th comes along in the game, special music will play at the start of the day. If you head over to the Exhibition Hall, the brand representatives will greet you with a Valentine's Day message and tell you how you can use their brand items to celebrate the holiday. No other Valentine's greetings appear in the game and there are no Valentine's decorations around the city.
Fashion Forward previously featured a special Valentine's Day themed outfit at Purple Moon. This outfit was the Chocolate Valentine's Outfit and consisted of a dress and socks. The items have been removed in Styling Star and are no longer available from Purple Moon.
There is one special Valentine's Day themed miniature to collect which is the cake display. This miniature appeared in Fashion Forward under the Food Category and can be obtained via events or by completing the Super Sweet Valentine modelling job. The Cake Display cane be purchased from the Cake Shop and can be found under the Food Miniatures Category.
There are a variety of brands featured in Style Boutique 3/Style Savvy 4 that cater to all tastes in fashion. One of the brands is Stage Dive which focuses on punk and rock fashion. The game lists the following description for the brand "The embodiment of the edgy rock 'n' roll lifestyle. Perfect for bringing out your inner punk rocker".
Stage Dive's main image is Rock and clothing items in the brand also fall under the following images: lively, psychedelic, gothic, bold,chic and preppy. Ginger returns as the brand representative for Stage Dive in Styling Star. For the Stage Dive brand, each section of clothing contains the following amount of items:
