The Lifestyle Shop is run by Pippa. |
The shop sells a variety of miniature and decorating items. |
The Lifestyle Shop can be found on the right of the city map and is run by Pippa. The shop stocks a variety of items that can be used to decorate your apartment and various aspects of the boutique. When you enter the Lifestyle Shop and talk to Pippa, two options will appear: For Apartment and For Shop.
First off is the For Apartment option. Use this option to purchase items to use when decorating the interior of your apartment. The apartment customisation isn't too complex as you can only alter certain aspects of the apartment. The For Apartment option brings up categories that you purchase items from and the selection is limited. The categories that are available in the For Apartment option include:
- Walls
- Floors
- Shelves
- Tables
- Chairs & Sofas
- Clothing Displays
- Dressers
- Furniture
- Lighting
- Clothes
- Miscellaneous

The items available for sale for use at the apartment are only available to purchase once. For example, you can only purchase a bed or wall once. Items such as clothing can be placed on the clothing display items and some miscellaneous items can be placed on shelves. Once you have purchased a item, it will not show up again at the Lifestyle Shop under the For Apartment option. When you select the option, it will display the screen shown below with no active categories available. For a guide on all the items available for decorating the apartment, please visit the Apartment Furniture Items Guide.
Here is an example of how you can use the items to decorate the interior of the apartment. Each item category must have an item selected, basically you cannot decorate a room without a bed or a tables and chairs set. Due to the selection of items being limited and with the feature that makes you have an item in each category, it can be difficult to create a room that has a matching theme or colour. The picture below shows an example of that with the tables and chairs set being a completely different style to the rest of the room.
The For Shop option has a larger selection of items available. The options available for use at the boutique include:
- Interior - Walls, floors and miniatures that can be used to decorate the interior of the boutique. Players on Shopdo will see the interior of your boutique.
- Interior Sets - Purchase pre-designed interior sets themed around the fashion styles of the game, such as girly, gothic and baby-doll.
- Exterior - Facades and building designs to use when decorating the exterior of the boutique.
The interior option is similar to the layout of the Miniatures Shop from Fashion Forward. It contains a variety of miniatures categories with many returning items from the previous game. Items under the plants category can be purchased from the Florist and a majority of the Food items in the game can be purchased from the Cake Shop or received as a gift from Michel at the Bakery Stall. Lorelei will also gift you a variety of miniatures during the main story line and you will receive some as gifts on your birthday.
The selection available under the Interior option changes every month with items rotating over the course of a week. For example, new items will appear on the 1st of the month, then on the 2nd and the 3rd and so on until the 7th. Then on the 8th of the month when a new week begins, the items that appeared on the 1st will reappear and the cycle will continue.
The walls and floors items can only be purchased once (as you only require one) and will have a red icon displayed on it (shown in the picture below) after you purchase it which means that it cannot be added to your cart. Miniatures can be purchased from the following categories at the Lifestyle Shop:
- Walls (Can only be purchased once)
- Floors (Can only be purchased once)
- Shelves
- Tables
- Chairs & Sofas
- Clothing Displays
- Clothes
- Dresses
- Furniture
- Food
- Miscellanous
- Windows
- Lighting

Here are examples of items that you can purchase from the Interior option and a picture of an example of how you can use them to decorate the interior of your boutique. The miniature item categories have changed in Styling Star and categories such as Electronics have been moved into other ones such as Furniture.

If you don't feel like designing your own boutique interior, you can purchase pre-designed interior sets themed around the fashion images of the game. When you purchase the pre-designed sets, all the items become available at the boutique and apartment (clothing and miscellaneous items only). Here are examples of the types of interior sets you can purchase.

Lastly is the exteriors option which features a variety of building designs and facades that you can use to decorate the exterior of the boutique. Over the course of the game series, the customisation of the boutique exterior has changed a lot. In Styling Star, you can only change four aspects of the exterior and these are shown as the four categories under the exterior option:
- Walls
- Floor
- Signs
- Display Window
Once you have purchased an item under any of the four categories, it will no longer become available as you can only purchase the item once. Similar to the apartment items, the selection screen will display 'No items available' once you have purchased all the styles available. Prices differ between the four categories and there are a variety of colours and styles available. In Fashion Forward, the display windows contained miniature items in them however this feature has been removed in Styling Star. Display windows are now just the background with a mannequin and you cannot place miniatures in the display anymore.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteDo you know which facade is which style(preppy,...)?
Or which facade is chic
(I'm sorry if my english is bad,'cause I'm from Germany)
If you mean facade as in the exterior items, they don't have specific themes in Styling Star. So there is no exact one to pick to attract certain customers. I'd say the ones that look the closest to the image of preppy and chic would be maybe the darker tone ones like browns or blacks.
DeleteOkay,
ReplyDeletethank you
is there any way to sell extra interior furniture items
ReplyDeleteYou cannot sell miniatures back unfortunately. Good to have extras though in case you want a certain look to your boutique.
DeleteDo you know how long it takes for the shops to refresh their items?
ReplyDeleteThe shops in Styling Star have the following system for changing items:
DeleteThe selection available changes every month with items rotating over the course of a week.
