Design Centre

Style Boutique 3 has an excellent new feature that allows players to post their clothing designs online for other players to download. This feature is called Design Centre and provides access to a variety of looks designed by players in your region.

The Design Centre is region-locked the same way Shopdo is meaning you can only search and download items uploaded by players in the same region as you. If you search for a Shopdo Owner ID of a player in a different region to you, the game will display 'Not Found' after searching. The following points detail what content you can access in regards to the region your game is:

• Style Boutique: Styling Star = Can only access Shopdo & Owner ID's from other players in the EUR/AUS region who are playing Style Boutique. Cannot access Style Savvy or Girls Mode players.
• Style Savvy: Styling Star = Can only access Shopdo & Owner ID's from other players in the NA region who are playing Style Savvy. Cannot access Style Boutique or Girls Mode players.
• Girls Mode 4: スター☆スタイリスト (Star☆Stylist) = Can only access Shopdo & Owner ID's from other players in the JPN region who are playing Girls Mode. Cannot access Style Boutique or Style Savvy players.

Design Centre can be accessed via the phone menu and requires an internet connection to use. When you select the Design Centre app, the game will inform you that your items, profile and Owner ID will be made public to other players. Your profile card can be edited via the Contacts App and displays basic information about your character. When enter the Design Centre app, there are a number of options available:

• Just For You
• Favourites
• Enter Owner ID
• Enter Item ID
• Search Criteria
• Post Item
• My Page

Recent
Select this item to see items that were recently uploaded to Design Centre by players. It will show you items that have been uploaded to the Design Centre database by anyone in your region. Often you'll see the same person posting multiple times if they uploaded a lot of items at once. Each item will have the number of items included in the set listed as well as a price.

If you are interested in purchasing an item on the Design Centre, select the item/set and select Buy. The game will save after you purchase an item and all items are payed for using your in-game money. You can find items you have downloaded in your wardrobe at the apartment or a complete list of all the items brought can be found in the Design Scrapbook under the Design option at the apartment. You can also delete items from here.

Popular Pieces
Showcases items that have been downloaded many times on the Design Centre. I've rarely seen this section change for months in the Style Boutique region. Items here have high download numbers and low prices that make them so popular.

Just For You
This option will bring up items that are similar to ones you have uploaded yourself or downloaded previously. It may show you similar ones to items you have posted, for example I saw a dress similar to one I posted.

Favourites
Items from players you have added to your favourites in Shopdo will appear here. Select this option and a list of your favourited players will appear. Select a player to see if they have posted an item to the Design Centre.

Enter Owner ID
You can search for players using their Owner ID if you know it from Shopdo. This is a great way to look at designs from players you follow on social media or have seen on Shopdo. The game will display all the items that the player has posted to the Design Centre. Please note you can only look up players from the same region as you.

Miniatures - Furniture

In New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star, there is a wide variety of miniatures that you can collect and use to decorate your boutique and apartment interior. Miniatures fall under different categories and many items were featured previously in Fashion Forward. Miniatures can be obtained by either purchasing them from various stores around the city or received as gifts from NPC's. This guide will detail all the Furniture items available.

Furniture miniatures can be purchased from the Lifestyle Shop which is run by Pippa. The selection of items available changes each month. Some items under the Furniture category appeared in different categories in Fashion Forward, but those categories have been reduced and the items have been moved the Furniture category. Here is a list of all the Furniture items available in Style Boutique 3/Style Savvy 4:

Brands - Marzipan Sky

There are a variety of brands featured in Style Boutique 3/Style Savvy 4 that cater to all tastes in fashion. One of the brands is Marzipan Sky which focuses on girly and larme style fashion. The game lists the following description for the brand "Marzipan Sky offers enchanting styles as sweet and delicate as the confection it's named after". 

Marzipan Sky's main image is Girly and clothing items in the brand also fall under the following images: lively, basic, psychedelic, boho-chic, baby-doll, bold, feminine and preppy. Karly returns as the brand representative for Marzipan Sky in Styling Star and the brand is one of largest in the game. For the Marzipan Sky brand, each section of clothing contains the following amount of items:

Boutique - Try It On Animations

When selling outfits to customers at your Boutique, you can select an option called 'Try It On' if you believe the customer will be highly impressed with your outfit selection. If the customer is pleased with the outfit you created, a short animation sequence will play showcasing them showing off the outfit. The animation will play every time you select Try It On and the customer is pleased with the outfit, so prepare to see it often.

There is a total of five different animations in the game and each style image does not necessarily have its own unique animation. Some images share the same animation for Try It On. If the customer is holding a bag item (i.e clutch, handbag, tote bag, etc), the arm pose will change. The five animations featured for Try It On and their corresponding style images are listed below.

May Poll Results - Favourite Shopdo Activity

May is over for another year and last months poll has come to a close! The question for this month was 'What's your favourite activity in Shopdo?' There was a slight issue with the Poll Widget this month on Blogger so some readers may not have been able to vote. It seems Blogger has removed the Polls Widget completely so this is the final poll on this blog sadly.

So the results are in on what players favourite activity to do on Shopdo is and the results are:

3th = Going Crazy With Likes
4th = Taking Photos With Other Players

Outfits seem to be the most popular feature on Shopdo and I totally agree as it's a great feature that allows you to be creative with outfit designs. It's fun to visit other player's Shopdo's and see their creations. Visiting other player's Shopdo's is a fun activity as well and I especially like doing it so I can see the wonderful interiors player's create. Most players seem to update their Shopdo at least once a week, so be sure to check back on your favourite boutiques! Leave your Shopdo ID code in the comments of the Shopdo ID Database if you would like to me to add it to the list. As I mentioned before, Blogger removed the Poll Widget from the website. So I can no longer add polls to this blog or the Style Boutique 2 Guide blog. It's a shame that the feature was removed as I loved adding the polls as a fun little activity for readers. Nothing has been added to replace the features, so I don't think I'll be continuing with the polls for now. Another thing that was changed during Blogger's recent overhaul by Google is that you no longer receive emails when you receive a reply to your comment.
